Unfortunately I can't find the link to that article with the developer. I just played thru Jak 1 and it wasn't bad but not great either (in terms of graphics). Compared the the Kingdom Hearts games that are now made on PS4, Jak 1 didn't look that great but it was still the same great game. Today, Jak and Daxter still stands the test of time relatively unscathed. While Jak and Daxter was not as good as Jak 2 and 3; which mixed platforming with shooting and sandbox game play; Jak and Daxter was still a great platformer. It laid the foundation for the future Jak titles and featured a great cast of characters. I'd say play them in the order they were released: The Precursor Legacy Jak II Jak 3 Jak X The Lost Frontier. I think Daxter was released between Jak 3 and Jak X, and I think it is best played there or later, even though it takes place before Jak II, as it contains some major Jak II plot spoilers.
