Find a nearby rock or pond to lure them near and you can easily take out 2 or 3. Flamin upgraded spears to the head take them down quick and keep circling the rock or dive into water to escape. I've killed about half a dozen so far but honestly it's the mammoth rhinos that are the biggest pain. I'll try this soon.

So a few things. 1: everyone who complains that there’s no guns, or cars, it’s repetitive, etc either never played a far cry game before or they can’t seem to understand how a time period game works. If you’ve never played a far cry game, then I’ll let it pass that it is repetitive.
In Far Cry 3, SSAO simply added large blobs around each tuft, and the other options on offer fared no better. In Far Cry 4, SSAO no longer adds dark blobs with reckless abandon, but its inaccuracy still results in the occasional AO halo around objects, and little to no shadowing on fine detail like the leaves of trees.
